Lotus turned the big 5 and she was so excited. We had a celebration on her birthday with cake and then another celebration with the whole family on our trip to New Jersey (pictures of that to come). Lotus got to pick where she wanted to eat on her birthday and this little vegetarian picked McDonald's for lunch and Golden Corral for dinner. Yuccckkkk, oops I mean yummmmm ;). Her two favorite presents were an older ipad I found super cheap on eBay and a pink guitar seen in the videos below. She made it through her 5 year checkup and weighs 49 pounds and 45 inches tall, both 90th percentile. Her favorite thing to do is swim. She is absolutely fearless in the water, goes in the deep end by herself and loves the big slide at our pool. Most days you can find us at the pool. She is super excited to start at her new school next year! We love our Lolo, although she prefers to be called Lotus now, sigh, tear and sniff.
