First Haircut

When you saw the title of this post you might have thought I was referring to Juniper, but alas I'm speaking of my 4.5 year old who finally got her first professional haircut yesterday. I have trimmed her hair before, but she probably got about two inches cut off. She was so excited to "get my hair cut like mama's". Her hair looks awesome!

Uh-Oh

Junie has 4 words now. Mama, Dada, and her two newest ones: ball and uh-oh. Here is video oh uh-oh, but it may only be distinguishable to a mother's ear.

Juniper is 11 Months Old!

Juniper turned 11 months old on 9/5. Just one day shy of her 11 month birthday she started really walking around at Mimi's house. She is working on all 4 of her one year molars and has been for about a month. The top two are just starting to peek out. It has not been easy for her or her parents, this getting molars thing. However, since she started wearing her Amber teething necklace, she has slept through every night. She loves: being chased, playing peekaboo, brushing her teeth, her blanket, messing up anything big sis is diligently working on then laughing about it, being carried around 24/7 by her mama (or anyone else if mama is not around), her blankie, eating, going new places, being at Mimi/PopPop's, Ollie/Penny. Her favorite foods are: any fruit, tofu pups, yogurt melts. She has started to like reading books. She points at anything and everything. She waves hello and bye bye.  Changing her diaper or wiping her nose are about the worst things that have ever happened to her and she'll let you know it. One more month until the big 0-1!

KC Irish Fest

We won free tickets to the KC Irish Fest, we sweated it out, and had the best time! Lotus did crafts, bounce houses, tattoos, got to meet the "real pirates" from Union Station, saw an awesome puppet show, met Slugger and played bingo. Juniper loved the water table, was mesmerized by the puppet show, and got in her first bounce house. It was so awesome!
