Science City

We met our friends The Hills at Science City on Sunday. June loved playing with her friend Marlowe. Lotus loved playing with her friend Ollie. Jeff rode the sky bike:

Wichita Trip

Last weekend we went to Wichita to meet up with Gramma Bo, Aunt Brenna, and cousins Brody and Brock. The girls had an awesome time causing a ruckus running wild around the hotel with their cousins. 

On Lotus' first day of

Kindergarten, Jeff and I took the day off, so that we could walk her to school and pick her up. While Lo was at school, We took June to Deana Rose with PopPop and Penny. It was super fun!

First Day of Kindergarten (sniff)

Lotus started Kindergarten on Friday and it was truly bittersweet. She was SO ready to start, but apparently her mama wasn't. She LOVED it. She told me Friday after I picked her up, "Mom, I had the best day ever!" She has come home every day so excited to show me what she's learned. We can't wait to see her grow and learn this year! 

Last days of summer

Lotus starts Kindergarten in less than a week (yikes!). Lo and June have been enjoying some last summer days with their cousins at mimi and PopPop's. Here are some cute pics by Mimi.  

Lotus 6 Year Stats & Lolo Art

Lotus is now 47 and 3/4 inches and weighs 56 pounds. Which puts her in 90th percentile for height and weight. 

Lotus LOVES art and in my opinion she's getting to be quite a good artist. Her and Ollie completed a week long drawing camp in July at Kansas City Art Institute. Here are some of her masterpieces from the class and from home:
