Renaissance Festival

We took Lotus to the Renaissance Festival for the first time today. She was totally shocked that places like this exist. Here she is with one of her new favorite things: butterflies. She is obsessed with Butterflies.

Every person in costume wanted to talk to Lotus. Nostredamus even read her fortune saying that she was very loved and would have a lifetime of happiness. He told us he also predicted the beautiful weather we were having. Lotus wasn't so sure a man with feathers on his hat could be trusted.
Here is Lotus at one of her other new favorite things. Her sand and water table on her new screened in porch. She LOVES going out on the new back porch that daddy built for her. She had her 15 month check up last week and is doing great! Well, minus the 3 shots she had to get. She is 95th percentile for height and 85th for weight. She has several new words: banana, flower (she's a little obsessed with flowers too), and baby. Some of her favorite activities are wrestling Ollie to the ground, brushing her teeth, finding off-limits items and running away with them, stomping her feet, hiding and trying to jump.

We have gotten to watch Ollie more lately now that Becky is back in school. Ollie loves to come over and eat Uncle Jeff's sushi. I asked Ollie one night what he wanted for dinner and he said "Uncle Jeff make sushi?" They are BFF's!
