Big Sister

We finally told Lotus last week that she's going to be a big sister. She is very excited and keeps telling everyone "My baby is coming out!". Today she went with us to the "baby doctor" and she got to hold the doppler and listen to the baby's heartbeat. We have our big ultrasound May 15th and will hopefully find out then if it's a little brother or sister. Lotus thinks it's a girl and some names she has suggested are "Ollie, Lolo, Penny, Stick and Ariel." I am 99.5% sure it's a boy!

Easter

Lotus spent Easter Sunday hunting eggs at Mimi and PopPop's and getting spoiled by the Easter bunny. Lo's favorite bunny presents were her umbrella, ballerina tutu dress, and lifetime supply of lip gloss.

Ballet Class

Lotus goes to ballet class every Wednesday at her school. The last class of the month is parents come watch day. Last month Mimi and Popop came to watch and took this video:

Witchita Visit

A couple of weekends ago we drove to Witchita to meet Gramma Bo, Aunt Brenna/Jamie, Uncle Bill, Brody, new cousin Brock, cousins Mattheau and Alex. Somehow I got zero pictures of adults and/or new cousin Brock, and my only pictures are of cousing Brody and Lolo. We really enjoyed seeing everyone and Lotus can't stop talking about you guys!

School Update

Lotus loves school. She has a best friend at school. Can you guess which one she is in the picture? She looks like she could be Lolo's twin. She went on her first field trip last week to Corinth Library to see a Mr. Stinky Feet concert. I was nervous, but she did great! She loves her teachers Ms. Tammy and Ms. Jen. When she gets home from school she is dirty and exhausted, which is as it should be.
