Lotus went with some of her fellow Daisy Scouts to "world thinking day" at my old middle school. It was basically an internationally fair with multiple booths set up by different troops. Lo had a blast with her friends.
After a 60 degree Christmas, we finally had our first snow day. I happened to have the day off and Lo didn't have school, so Jeff came home on his lunch break and took the girls sledding on the hill behind their school. They lasted about 20 minutes this time which might be a record.
We went to the Nelson Art Museum as a family. Lotus loved looking at all the art because she is super into art now. Her favorites were the outside sculptures of the seasons. Here she is with her favorite, summer:
June got her first haircut a couple of weeks ago and sat like a statue without moving or talking the whole time. It was very cute. Her hair looks pretty much the same just slightly less wild. Lotus got her hair cut as well, it was a fun girl time.
We had a great Christmas! Becky and family were in town, so the cousins lived playing together and opening presents.
St. Jo Christmas at Aunt B's:
Christmas Eve at our house. Penny and June got fairy princess ballet classes:
Christmas Day we continued our tradition of heading to crown center to see all the Christmas displays and the beauty of Union Station at Christmas. So fun being one of the few there. We opened presents wicked early like 6AM:
