I'm not sure if I've ever talked about the gift that my parents have given us in caring for the girls when I'm at work. They are so loving and truly enjoy being with my girls. We love them so much!

Lotus' Mimi made her a huge and beautiful quilt. Lotus loves that it is a maze that has her name and initials on it, and it matches her room perfectly. What a lucky girl to have had such an heirloom made for her!

We've had the privilege of having some extra Ollie and Penny time lately. Lotus and Ollie spent lots of time in the basement this morning practicing a prayer Lotus learned at preschool. I love how they added "namaste" on the end, and that is what they are laughing so hard at. Such best friends!

Snowy Day

Finally a snowy-ish day, and the cousins got all up in it making a snowman completely unassisted for the first time while all the adults stayed warm inside. June probably stayed out for about 30 minutes breaking her previous snow playing time by about 25 minutes :) 

Toddler Bed Update

June has been sleeping in her toddler bed for a little over a month now, and it's time for an update. The first couple of weeks June did not figure out she could actually get out of the bed, so she would just lay right down and go to sleep = awesome! Then we started hearing commotion right before she would go to sleep. She loves to pile as many toys she can gather on top of herself before she goes to sleep. This lasts about 10 minutes or less and then we wait till she's asleep and go in and unpile her. Here is a compilation of what we have found when checking on her at night. Note: she is sound asleep in each of these photos.

Cousin love minus one

We got to watch Ollie when he had a half day off school. We missed Penny, who

was at school. I got this series of shots of them while they were taking turns pretending to be Santa and having each other sit on their lap. They are so adorable!
