Camping!
We went camping (like in an actual tent, ahem) at Clinton Lake with Mimi/PopPop and Aunt B and kids. It was super fun. We had a campfire, roasted tofu pups, went on a hike, swam in the lake, Lotus saw her life flash before her eyes x 2: once when she saw a cicada and ended up hanging from a railing, and then when a frog jumped directly on her, fed the fish at the marina, saw Chester and family and got little sleep, it was awesome. I took a great video of June and Penny dancing around the campfire naked, but I can't post it here due to the gratuitous nudity, so here's some pictures from our trip instead:

Bye Bye Wall!
We got our load bearing wall torn down that separated our living room and family room and now we just have one big living room. Jeff is working on the finishing touches, but it's gonna be pretty great. Here's a picture of the team of guys carrying in the steel beam that runs across the ceiling.

Wichita Weekend
We went up to Wichita to celebrate our niece and nephews graduations. It was super fun being together and the cousins loved playing together, both young and old. I didn't get many pictures, but here is a really blurry shot of the far away stage of Alex walking across at her high school graduation. Congrats Alex and Mattheau!

Lotus' Preschool Graduation
Lotus had her preschool graduation today. She'll continue to go to this school for the summer program for the next few months, and in the fall kindergarten (maybe)! She was so cute and proud in her cap and gown!

Mother's Day
After a long day at work came home to find these gems: chocolate covered peanut butter cookies and Junipers footprint butterfly. I teared up a bit at the poem, of course. Cookies spell out "best mom ever", so maybe they were meant for Mimi since she is by far the best! I do do my best though. Thank you to Jeff for making me a mother!

Sisters, Sisters We Will Always Be
And some days Lo and June like that fact more than others. Today they loved being sisters! From riding around in a borrowed power wheel at Mimi and PopPop's, to swinging together, to going "to sleep" snuggling in Lo's tiny toddler bed (which has become a nightly bedtime ritual). They had a great day together!
