We Love Cotton Candy!

A.K.A. Sesame Street Live. We took Ollie and Lotus to Sesame Street Live today. They loved it! Ollie ate the entire cotton candy by himself and then had to be hosed off in the bathroom. I swear it's the ONLY time he's ever been messier than Lo. I'm swearing off SS Live, while Aunt B points out one day I'll have to take Juniper and PenPen. Ugh at the thought.

Marshmallow Art

Lotus made this snowman out of marshmallows at her preschool. I love it. Mostly because his pretzel arms are half eaten off and when asked why one marshmallow is missing, she replied "because it was loose and I didn't want it to get lost, so I ate it."

Sleepover

Lotus had been begging for Ollie to come over for a sleepover for weeks now. Well, Ollie finally said yes! Lo was so excited. They ate vanilla chocolate drumsticks, watched Godzilla episodes, made a fort in the living room and had a camp out under it while telling ghost stories. It was a success! We hope Ollie will be up for another sleepover soon.

Juniper is 3 Months Old!

Our sweet Junie bug is 3 months old and already 15 pounds! She is still addicted to the swaddle, has to have a fuzzy blanket on her face when sleeping and doesn't care for the pacifier. She's a gigglin' fool! She loves her mobile and can watch it for a good 20 minutes before getting too bored. She's kicking up a storm, but no signs of rolling over yet.

Epic Rollerskating Fail

In continuing our action sports adventures, we took the kids Rollerskating today. Lotus had a great time skating on the "rug" as she called it or the carpeted part of Skatecity. However, the ONE time she actually made it out on the rink, there were lots of tears and cries for mama. So, her parents took a few spins around the rink. Long story short, I ended up wiping out pretty hard and thought I broke every bone in my body. (A short trip to urgent care revealed no broken bones). Man I'm getting old. So, I think we're officially done trying new sports for a bit anyway. P.S. Lotus was sure rocking some sweet leg warmers!

Crazy Aunt B

There's one in every family...and the girls are so lucky to have Crazy Aunt B! Right now they adore her antics, but can't wait for the teenage years (oh wait, yes i can) because I can see some mortification in their future. We love Aunt B!

Juniper Laughs Take 2

Juniper thought this lion rattle was Hilarious! I love the little dimple on her right cheek. I should also mention this was while waiting to see the pediatrician. She's acting real sick right? Mimi always says sitting in the doctors waiting room can cure most ills.
