Happy 4th of July!

Big Girl Room

We moved Lotus out of her "baby room" and into the bigger guest room because she has completely outgrown her old room. She is also in a "big girl"toddler bed in her new "big girl" room. She has been sleeping in it for about a week now and has not fallen out of bed and goes right to sleep after reading books. Aunt B sketched this cooltree on her wall and Jeff and I painted it.

Here we are in our surrey. Even Great Grandmom came along for the ride! Lotus is eating her mango sucker.

Every morning we went for bike rides along the boardwalk. Lotus loves wearing her helmet.

Lotus is IN LOVE with her cousin Nate. They were quite the pair at the shore. Lotus insisted on having him carry her around everywhere. She even loves looking at pictures of him.

Lolo hits the Big Apple AND the Garden State

We are currently on our yearly vacation to Ocean City, NJ. We decided to drive this year and stop in NYC to visit my friend Jennifer who lives in Brooklyn. We went to Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty, rode lots of subways, and walked across the Brooklyn bridge. We got to Ocean City, NJ Saturday night and Lotus loves going to the beach. She wakes up in the morning saying "go to beach" and "in the water".

Swimming, Elmo Cake and Presents!

In the afternoon of Lolo's birthday we went swimming at Mimi's, made her an Elmo Cake (she has been talking about Elmo Cake for weeks), had dinner and opened presents. She had a blast!

Happy 2nd Birthday Lolo!!

Lotus had the best 2nd birthday! We went to Science City at Union Station in the morning, followed by Fritz's for lunch!
