Happy Mother's Day!

I had a great Mother's Day. Jeff watched Lotus on Saturday so I could go Garage Sailing with Becky and my mom. Then Saturday night we had dinner at my parent's house followed by Yogurtini. Sunday Lotus and Jeff helped me plant my vegetable garden and Jeff even let me convince him to buy a new pair of shoes. I am so lucky to be the mom of such a wonderful little girl. Happy Mother's day Mimi and Gramma Bo, we love you soooo much!

Classic Lolo

We went on a field trip to Powell Gardens last week. It was also field trip day at the Gardens and that was Lotus' favorite part. She would have left on the buses with these kids if we'd have let her. Have I ever mentioned my daughter has no fear?

Wichita trip

We drove to Wichita to meet Gramma Bo and the Argos over the weekend. Lotus had so much fun playing with her cousin Brody. She is still asking about Brody!

Aunt B Mama

Lolo's new thing is giving names to every pretend person she encounters. From Bob the Builder = Daddy, to a gray haired doll = Mimi. Here she is with her new favorite doll set. The blond one is always Aunt B and the brown haired one is always Mama.

Easter

We celebrated Easter over the weekend, early this year because I have to work Easter weekend and Grammy and PopPop are going camping. Eggheads: Dying Easter eggs with Ollie: Finished product: Blowing bubbles with Mimi (Lotus' new name for Grammy is Mimi): Ollie doesn't know why everyone else is dawdling, he thinks it's time to get serious about this egg hunting business: Lotus must have been a good girl this year because the Easter Bunny filled her basket to overflowing with goodies: Aunt B bought her hair extensions... which she completely hates. She won't even touch them! Thanks A LOT Aunt B :)

ZOO!

Last Saturday the Aunt B's and the cousins went to the zoo! It was a beautiful day. The kids saw Nikita the polar bear's house, pet some sheep and rode the carousel.

Under the Sea

Last week we went on a fun field trip with Aunt B, Ollie, Grammy and PopPop to Crown Center's Under the Sea exhibit and Union Station to see the trains. Here is scuba Lolo: Here we are playing with a whale's uvula:
