Skateboarding has become one of Lotus' all time favorite activities. She gets super excited when she looks out the window and sees the ramp or if she sees Daddy's skateboard. She even enjoyed watching Daddy "teaching" Ollie how to skateboard. Do they make baby skateboards in pink?

10 months old!

Double digits already? Lotus has many new tricks from last month: crawling, pulling up/walking around furniture, enjoying reading books. The only books she will tolerate are touch and feel or lift the flap books. Lotus has acquired a new nickname "LoLo" from her cousin Ollie. She has also acquired a new tooth, one of the big ones on top is starting to poke out. The ladies at the child watch place where mommy works out say that Lotus is always the happiest and never cries. This is mostly true, except she does cry occasionally. Her favorite things right now are shoes, the swing in our front yard and her new "foofa" doll she got from the Easter bunny. We love our lil' LoLo!

Lotus Skateboards!

Lotus skateboarded with Daddy for the first time today. Daddy was saying things like, "it's about time she learned how to skate" and "her stance is really good, she's a natural." Sigh. Of course, she loved it!

Craziness!

What a crazy week in the Blizzard McClure house! Some highlights include: driving to New Jersey, the stomach flu and ear infections. We are glad to be home and are finally starting to feel better! Here are some random pictures from the past couple of weeks:

Oh la la!

Our baby is 9 months old! She had her 9 month well-baby visit and Dr. Hartman said she is growing beautifully. She is in the 90th percentiles for height and weight. She finally started crawling forwards on Saturday at Grammy and Pop-pops. We got it on video, and hopefully I'll post that soon! She loves to clap her hands. To Lotus, every moment is clapworthy. She can also give great high fives! She is a little water baby. I have taken her to the pool three times in the last week, and she loved it every time! Next week Lotus and I start our week long spring break intensive swim lessons with Aunt B and Ollie. So fun!
